I would highly recommend this (One Line a Day: A Five Year Memory Book) for anyone starting out college. What better way to record and remember what God has done in your life than with a journal like this?
On each date (May 18, for example) there is space for you to write a sentence or two for five consecutive years. So by the time you graduate, you can look back and see what was happening on any day or season of your life, who was significant, and what God was teaching you. The best part is you only have to write a line or two a day. So if the thought of journalling has ever overwhelmed you, this is a good place to start. I'm going to get one for my baby's first birthday (I wish I would have known about it before she was born) and record things for the next five years of her life.
